5-2 Removing the Chassis Cover

Remove the four screws that hold the chassis cover in place.There are two 1.

screws on each side of the chassis, and one screw on the back.

Once the screws have been removed, lift the cover upward to remove it from 2.

the chassis.

Warning: Except for short periods of time, do NOT operate the

server without the cover in place. The chassis cover must be

in place to allow proper airow and prevent overheating.
